I live on Bundjalung land, in the Yugambeh region, where so much of this journey has been inspired. By my side is my pup, Oakie, a constant part of every adventure and the heart behind Aloah & Co.My mission is simple: to redefine comfort while camping, with the planet always in mind. Aloah & Co creates ergonomic, ethically sourced products that offer a conscious alternative to traditional sleeping bags and duvets, designed for those who share the same love of adventure and mindful choices.Our blankets are crafted from the finest linen, chosen for its timeless beauty, versatility, and lighter environmental footprint. Each one comes with a matching drawstring bag for easy portability, rolled into your swag, packed in a rooftop tent, or wrapped around your shoulders by the campfire. Our ethics
Since the beginning, we've believed beautiful products should be made with care for people and the planet.
As a coastal brand, protecting the environment that inspires us has always mattered. We use compostable packaging wherever possible, from mailers to product tags, to cut down on single-use plastic. Our blankets are made from linen, a fabric that uses far less water than cotton, grows in poor soil, and only gets better with age.Sustainability isn't about perfection. It's about better choices, and continuing to learn as we grow.Giving back
With every blanket, $2 goes toward the Nanyaro Foundation, supporting a free community school in Manyara, Tanzania. It's a cause close to home for us, born from a trip that changed everything.
Where It All Started
At 22, a trip to Africa with a friend I barely knew, Jackson Potter, changed everything. What was pitched as a girls' trip with our friend Kaitlyn Malone turned into something none of us expected. Africa showed me a kindness and warmth I hadn't seen before, from people who often had so little.Partway through, we visited a local school, two rooms, run by the local pastor, teaching for free because families couldn't otherwise afford it. The teacher later told us he could no longer afford the land it sat on.That same day, Jackson shared he'd always wanted to give back to Africa through Kingse Safaris. Soon after, he started The Nanyaro Foundation, supporting that community school in Manyara, Tanzania, the same region my "We Can Change" photography was taken.Every blanket now supports the Nanyaro Foundation too.
