Linen Quilted Blankets
Hannah and Dion, the founders of Aloha and co., design each blanket in their Australian home. The quilted linen blankets can be utilised as bedding while traveling, picnic rugs, beach blankets, and even quilts for the home. let our blankets mould to your lifestyle.
We chose to utilise linen for our blankets since the flax plant not only has a high carbon absorption rate, but it can also grow in poor soil and serve as a source of rehabilitation for depleted soil. Linen is not only a sustainable material, but also timeless and elegant.
By using linen instead of cotton, aloha and co not only produces more durable blankets, but also conserves tens of thousands of litres of water. According to the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp, the creation of a linen shirt would use 6.4 litres of water, compared to 2,700 litres for a cotton garment.
Please wash your quilts by hand or, as a last resort, on a gentle cycle to safeguard their longevity!
